Pool Manager Control Panel
Point Spreads:
How do the Point Spreads work? - Point spreads are always shown and calculated on our website in relation to the Home team. *Tip - A negative number means the home team is favored and a positive number means the road team is favored. A simple trick to see if you won is to add the point spread to the home team's final score.

Who sets the Point Spreads? – We set the default point spreads on Monday mornings for College and Tuesday mornings for NFL based on the current odds from USA TODAY. We always set the point spread to end with 1/2 point to avoid ties. In 2008 we are rounding up. If the point spread is even, say -7, we'll make it -7.5. If it's +3 we'll make it +3.5.

Can my pool use custom Point Spreads? - Yes, all of our pool types allow pool managers to edit our pre-loaded point spreads.

Do the Point Spreads change during the week? - No.

Pick Deadlines:
How does the pick deadline work? - The pool manager can set the pick deadline to whatever time he/she wants using the Pool Manger >Control Panel Setup page. The default pick deadline is Sunday 1PM Eastern Time and the site is set up so you can leave the deadline set on Sunday all year long. Even when there's a Thursday game, you can leave the deadline set for Sunday because of our application will prevent people from entering or changing picks for games that have already started. Once a game starts, all picks for that game are locked.

Tip - Many of our managers like to set their pick deadline for Friday so everyone can print out the pool wide picks from work, and then take the pick sheet home knowing that all the picks are locked.

When there's an early game (for example Thursday), can I enter a pick for the early game only and then come back later to do my Sunday picks? – Yes, the site will allow you to enter just the one pick but it will give you a warning. We recommend that you make your picks in full. If you have elected to use the Compu-pick it will fin your missing picks and populate them for you. As long as your deadline is not Thursday you will be able to change any of the picks for the games that have not played until your pick deadline is up.

What happens if the Thursday game starts before I enter my picks? - If you miss picking a Thursday game you get a loss for that game but you can still enter your picks for the Sunday games, provided it is before your deadline. If your pool uses Compu-picks, the computer will pick for you when you forget. If you don't use the Compu-picker, you'll get a loss for every game that you don't enter picks for.

Can I change my picks? - Yes, you can change your picks as often as you like, but only up until the pick deadline. After that time, no picks can be made or changed. Your safe with our software because you can never change a pick for a game that has already started that includes pool managers.

Compu-picks:
What if someone forgets to enter picks? – eFBp.net offers a Compu-Picks feature that lets your pool members choose which default picks they want. They can choose from All Home, All Road, All Dogs, or All Favorites . The pool manager has the option of allowing or not allowing Compu-Picks in their control panel selection.

Do Compu-Picks include predictions for the tie-breaker game? – Yes.

Can I change picks made by the Compu-Picker? - Yes, if it's before your pick deadline and before game time, you can change your picks.

Can the Compu-Picker change the picks that I already entered? - No, our program disregards picks that have been submitted rendering it impossible for the Compu-Picker to change anything.

What is Top Gun? - When Top Gun is selected the manager decides how many games per week members are required to pick. This is ideal for a lot of our college members as there are so many games per week.

Reporting Options
What is the Standard reporting option? - When the Standard reporting option is selected, Total Standard Points are calculated in the following manner: Total Standard Points = Wins x Per Game Value. Selecting this option also enables Total Standard Points as a tiebreaker option and it can be selected in any one of the seven tiebreaker sorting/ranking options.

What is the Confidence reporting option? - When the Confidence reporting option is selected, Total Confidence Points are calculated in the following manner: Total Confidence Points = Wins x Confidence Points. How does the Best Weeks reporting option work? - The manager can determine how many of the "Best Weeks" from each members weelky standings should be included in the Full Season Standings Best Weeks report. For example, if the manager sets the Best Weeks reporting option to 10 in a 17 week season then each member's best 10 weeks are factored into the Full Season Standings Best Weeks report and the 7 worst weeks are dropped. This option does not affect the Weekly Standings report.

What kind of tiebreaker options do you offer? - We offer the most comprehensive tiebreaker solution on the web. We offer 14 tiebreakers that can be applied to 7 Sorting/Ranking options giving managers the ability to limit the possibilites of ties. This logic applies to Weekly and Full Season Standings reports. Please review the options below:
